Happy Wednesday, Round Rock! 👋 The Fourth of July is nearly here, and the run-up is loaded — an open-air art market on Main Street, fireworks at the ballpark, and free summer fun all over town.

There's also big hockey buzz — the NHL just kicked off a process that could bring a team to Central Texas — plus good news from our schools, a new Tex-Mex cantina on the way, and the week's best local deals. Let's dig in.

🎆 Your Round Rock 4th of July Game Plan

The Fourth lands on a Saturday this year — here's how to celebrate without leaving town.

July 4th Parade & Frontier Days
Round Rock's biggest day of the year. The Sertoma Independence Day Parade rolls down Mays Street with giant inflatables and community groups, then the party moves to Old Settlers Park for all-day Frontier Days — carnival rides, live music, vendors, Swifty Swine racing pigs, a pepper-eating contest, and a big fireworks show after dark.

  • Dumont Creamery & Café — premium ice cream, boba, and espresso under one roof near Old Settlers.

🍕 Restaurant Spotlight

Frank & Margie's (Round Rock)

📍 1401 N. I-35, Ste. 120 · now open

Round Rock just landed something special: Frank & Margie's, from Michelin-starred chefs Phillip Frankland Lee and Margarita Kallas-Lee. The draw is unfussy but seriously good — sourdough-crust pizza and handmade pasta, made with the kind of technique you'd expect from that résumé.

Why go: chef-driven cooking at neighborhood-pizzeria ease — a great date night or a special family dinner without the drive into Austin.
